A slip-on replaces only the rear silencer(s) and is the most subtle upgrade. A cat-back replaces everything from the catalytic converter back, delivering more sound and power gains. We are happy to advise which option suits your preferences.
Yes, in most cases it does. An exhaust replacement does not void the factory warranty unless it can be proven that the exhaust caused damage. Akrapovic systems are TUV-approved.
Akrapovic systems with valves can be controlled via the original driving modes or via a separate remote. In comfort mode you drive quietly, in sport mode everything opens for maximum sound.
This varies per model and system. With a full system including sport catalysts, we typically see 5-10% power gains. A slip-on primarily improves sound with minimal horsepower gains.
Popular models are often in stock at Akrapovic and available within 1-2 weeks. More specific configurations can take 4-6 weeks. We always inform you of the expected delivery time upfront.
