Is a car buying service worth it?

Yes, for a car from about € 10,000. One hidden defect or an inflated asking price easily costs more than the € 310 for an assessment on location; for a cheaper car, a standalone pre-purchase inspection for € 199 is often enough. New to the Netherlands? Add an unfamiliar market and paperwork in Dutch.

Our car buying service is more than an inspection. We guide the whole process, from the first conversation to handing over the keys. Whether the car is in the Netherlands or has to be imported from abroad, we run the search and stay by your side.

A fixed fee per package, including VAT and excluding the car: Advice only € 150, Assessment € 310, Assessment+ € 425, Find € 520, Find + Negotiate € 835 and Full Service € 1,045. You pay afterwards. See which one fits under [your price in two clicks](#prijzen).
To buy one, no. To register it in your name, yes: you need to be registered with a Dutch municipality (in the BRP), which is also how you get your BSN. Not registered yet? We start the search now and plan the purchase around your registration.
Yes, and we arrange it for you. Without Dutch ID it can’t be done online or at a dealer, so it is done in person at an RDW inspection station. You bring your passport and a BRP extract showing your BSN, no older than 3 months. A residence permit doesn’t count, which catches many people out. We buy the car onto our own trade stock, book the appointment, tell you exactly what to bring and go with you. From € 100 extra, shown in your price.
Yes. We buy it on your behalf under a clear contract, keep it safely stored and hand it over when you arrive: you pick it up, or we deliver it. From € 150 extra, including a month of storage.
Yes. For a new car we advise on configuration, choice of dealer and negotiation. Our network often gives access to terms a private buyer does not get.
We specialise in premium, sporty and classic cars, but we also help with other makes and models. Feel free to contact us, even if you are not sure yet. Or start with the cars in our own collection.
A small number, on consignment. If one of them fits your search, we tell you, and different rates apply because much of the work on that car is already done. For everything else we search the whole market.
Yes, a standalone pre-purchase inspection is possible. For that, the car comes to our workshop in Alphen aan den Rijn, where we give you an honest verdict on its condition and the asking price. If you want us to go to the car, choose the car buying service.
A private seller gives no warranty, and you have fewer rights than with a dealer. If a fault shows up after the sale, it is hard to get anything back. That is why it pays to have the car checked before you buy.
No, we don’t buy cars, but we can sell yours for you on consignment. Mention it on the call and we’ll go through it with you.
We can usually start searching within a few days. Via WhatsApp we often respond the same day.
